Hugh Grant is set to become a father again as his Swedish girlfriend Anna Eberstein is pregnant.
The British actor, 57, is expecting his fifth child in less than seven years after Anna’s mother Susanne Eberstein confirmed the news to Swedish media.
“I’m very happy to be getting another grand child,” she told Aftonbladet.
“She’s due rather soon.”
The happy couple already have two children together. Their first, John Mungo, was born in September 2012 and their second in December 2015.
Hugh separately has two other children with Tinglan Hong, with whom he had a brief affair.
His eldest child, Tabitha, was born in September 2011 and Felix came along in 2013.
Hugh and Anna made a rare public appearance at Sunday night’s Golden Globe awards, where Anna revealed her growing baby bump.
The couple looked happy and relaxed as they walked the red carpet and posed for pictures, with Hugh in a tux and Anna wearing leather trousers, a black jacket and a bejewelled black top in recognition of the all-black dress code in protest at the recent Hollywood sex scandal.
It comes in a particularly happy week for Hugh, who received a BAFTA Award nomination this morning for best supporting actor for his role in Paddington 2.
He will go up against Christopher Plummer, Sam Rockwell, Willem Dafoe and Woody Harrelson at the star-studded ceremony on February 18.
Hugh and Anna met at a party in London where she pitched him a film.
